I would like to share a few more photos from our Thanksgiving trip to Miami before I spread the love of Christmas preparations back in Dallas.
The days after Thanksgiving were spent relaxing with the Wilson family at the house that Scott grew up in. Scott's next youngest brother Shawn and his two children, Abby and George, were over at the house often (Shawn lives about a mile away). We all love these holiday moments together, particularly enjoying the rare moments that the four grandchildren have together.
On the way over to grandmommy's house the morning after Thanksgiving, Shawn and his kids happened to pass by a garage sale. Except it wasn't a garage sale, but more of a craft sale, where local artists were selling items they had made by hand. Shawn purchased caps for Amelia and Abby (modeled below), and I think they are just adorable. Amelia loves her owl cap, and I know she will make use of it for warmth come winter.
The boys played football with Uncle Shawn in the morning.
Then later in the afternoon we all went for a game of mini golf. We split into two teams: girls team and boys team. The girls team consisted of grandmommy, Abby, Amelia, and me. The boys team was Scott, Shawn, Chris (the youngest brother in the Wilson family), George and John.
It was a gorgeous day! There was a beautiful breeze and the temperatures were mild. So fun!
Later that afternoon the girls painted their nails on the back porch and the boys played more football out front.
What a relaxing day to end our trip to Miami this year.
