Easter!

We had a nice time celebrating Easter Sunday. We went to church in the morning and returned home for an Easter egg hunt afterwards. Unfortunately our weather that day was rainy and was not condusive to outdoor egg-hunting, so we were lucky that the Easter bunny (aka mommy) was smart and chose to hide the eggs indoors. The children didn't seem to mind, and I honestly think that Amelia belives whole-heartedly in the Easter bunny. Honestly, she should have no reason not to believe. Amelia exclaimed, "Mommy, I am so glad the Easter bunny is so smart that he knew to avoid the rain outside!". Below, before the egg hunt.

Of course, for Amelia and John it's not so much about hunting for eggs as it is looking for the loot inside of the eggs. And while Amelia has a sweet tooth (likely inherited from me), John completely wins the prize in his tendency for sweets (likely also inherited from me). This kid thinks nothing of taking down two or three treats sequentially, and then asking whether this is OK or not.
