Play ball!

Spring t-ball started this week and John is playing on a team called the Texas Tigers. This is John's first year to play on a team since last year he was grouped with the four year-olds, who just meet to practice their hitting and fielding skills. This year John's team meets twice a week, with half of the meetings for practice and half for games.

John is very proud of his new uniform! Team photos were taken on Saturday and John is posing with some of his teammates below.

Below is a photo of one of John's hits during Saturday's game. The fielding skills of the opposing team were not too good so all of the kids got to hit at least twice. Amelia and I enjoyed cheering for John on a lovely and sunny Saturday morning at the park.
