So our house is a mess. Construction is underway in the backyard and it all looks like a big pile of garbage. Posted to the front door are the construction permits.
Bulldozer in the backyard, plus complete elimination of anything else back there. Landscaping is all gone, swing set gone, garage taken down. It looks awful right now but I know that in a year this area of our home will look spectacular. The bulldozer is paving the way for the new pier-and-beam foundation needed for the addition to the back of the home. Muddy, muddy, mess.
In other good news, Amelia performed in the All-Dallas region Middle school band concert last night. Amelia had to try out to make it as a member of the All Region band so this was a big honor. Congrats to Amelia for being part of this selected group of musicians - the concert was amazing!
And one photo of John on our plane ride to Miami for Thanksgiving. It's a long story, but we accidentally got seated in the business class section of an international plane on our way to Miami. We didn't receive the service of business class on our trip, but that didn't stop us from enjoying he reclining abilities of the seats!
