Last night after dinner I asked the kids to go get their pajamas on. Thay came back out to the living room dressed like this - pajamas with accessories.
Amelia and John then gave me a mini rock concert, with both kids taking turns drumming on the Tinkertoys container and using the lids as cymbals. It was really cute and fun to watch. When I asked why they decided to dress like hippies and give a rock concert, they replied simply, "well, mom, you know we like to drum." Indeed.
I took this last photo on a different evening before bed. John had too-long hair over most of Christmas break, until two weeks ago when I could take him to the hairdrresser for a trim. While it was long, John loved to comb his hair up into spikes after getting a bath, calling it his "style-dog" hair.
