John turned three years old on February 6. We held a party for John the next day, Saturday February 7, at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field. John was so excited about his birthday! We hosted almost 20 children at the party, and it was amazing to watch them all run around and exert insane amounts of energy playing and enjoying the good time together. At right is a photo of John and two of his classmates climbing the Jay Jay jet plane in the museum play area.
As it would be with a typical three-year-old, John enjoyed himself at the party, yet quickly became overwhelmed by the attention and the energy of the day. The next photo is of Amelia and John playing in the cockpit of the mock airplane. John is clearly overwhelmed at this point, and you can tell by the hair falling all over Amelia's face that she has run around quite a bit too.
Next is the birthday boy peeking out of the airplane window!
Time to take a break from playing and enjoy the cake!
